The Bonus Bridesmaid
A Day-Of-Wedding Coordinator is the perfect solution for couples who have decided to handle most of the planning themselves.. But, when your wedding day arrives, you will need a professional at your side to execute the minute-by minute specifics of your plan.
Many couples ask their maid-of-honor, a family member, or a friend to handle this task. But managing all of these details can be very stressful. In most cases, family and friends have no experience managing an event and too-often end up feeling overwhelmed as they try to focus on everything that must be done to ensure your day runs smoothly.
As your Day-of-Wedding Coordinators, we will be on-site from beginning to end. We will be the main contact on your wedding day.
Pre-Booking
Initially, we'll schedule a chat to discuss your wedding. First and foremost, we want to learn about you and your partner! Then, of course, we’ll get all of the details about your wedding - the date, the style, the number of guests, and all of the other important pieces you’ve worked so hard to plan out.
Next Steps
If we are the right fit for your big day, we'll send over a contract to confirm our plan moving forward. Upon signing, a non-refundable retainer is due to begin the real work!
Planning Meeting
Despite being "day of"- our services start as soon as you hire us, meaning I am always just a text away! Shortly after booking, we will have an initial planning meeting via video chat to review your progress to date, and officially meet face to face! We will send you checklists, tools and a recommended vendor list if needed. The most amazing part- you get unlimited access to your new bridal bestie team - reviewing contracts, answering questions small or big, or just being an ear to vent to!
Final Chit Chat
About 6 weeks before the wedding, we will meet in person to finalize your timeline and details.. This is our favorite part! We love doing this at a coffee shop, over lunch, or during your final venue walkthrough!
Rehearsal
It sounds easy enough, but most of the time, the rehearsal is the first time the wedding party is all together. We will practice walking down the aisle, making sure everyone knows where to stand, and then walking back out.Since the officiant is typically the first person to enter the celebration space, it’s impossible for the officiant to cue each person for their entrance. That’s where we take over and get everyone on point.
Your Dreams Coming True
And of course, the big day!
We are the first to arrive at the venue and last to leave. We make sure everything is set up, looking great, and handling any last-minute changes or issues so that you and your family can enjoy the day!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q - Why do we need a wedding coordinator? A - Coordinators are the perfect solution for couples who have decided to handle most of their wedding planning themselves.. Here are some of the duties we provide you and your partner between booking and the big day: - Creation of an all-inclusive timeline - A provided list of recommended vendors - Guides that walk you through all things planning - Rehearsal - Day-of-coordination coverage with a lead coordinator and assistant - "Rollanda" our wedding day emergency kit with bandaids, tape, super glue, and all things wedding emergency & so much more!
Q - My venue provides a venue coordinator, What is the difference? A - Usually venue coordinators are there for just that- the venue. They are not responsible for any other vendors you bring in, helping to run the ceremony and all the events throughout the night. Check your contract and talk to the venue to find out details of what they are willing to do for you- most will encourage you to bring someone else in- some even require it!
Q - How many coordinators will be at my wedding? A - Every wedding includes a lead and an assistant coordinator. It doesn’t matter the number of guests or type of venue- our goal is to ensure you the best service possible. There are countless times on a wedding day your coordinator is getting pulled in several directions. An assistant ensures nothing slips through the cracks, your guests are better directed and assisted, and of course, that your needs are met, and vision is executed!
